As Le Macaron bakery franchises continue to pop up all across America, we are adding new Franchise Owners all the time! Our newest Le Macaron Franchise Owners, Sebastian and Christiane Strom, are excited to open three new Le Macaron pastry franchise locations in the Charleston, SC area. 

Both Sebastian and Christiane have backgrounds in the medical industry. Originally from Denmark, Strom plans to continue working full-time as a physician once his three new Le Macaron bakery franchises open their doors. Christiane, a cardiologist, is excited to achieve a healthy work-life balance by becoming a Franchise Owner with Le Macaron. The couple, who have two children ages 2 and 4, are thrilled to be able to stay active in their community, which can be a real challenge with a high-stress career in healthcare. 

Sebastian and Christiane first heard about the Le Macaron bakery franchise in Orlando, FL, where they would often vacation when they lived in St. Augustine. They fell in love with the European flair of the pastry franchise, and dreamed about starting a bakery of their own. However, logistical issues associated with owning a small pastry business- including how and when they would have time to make the delicious goodies themselves- made the dream feel impossible. When they heard about the Le Macaron bakery franchise opportunity, it seemed like a dream come true! Not only could they run their own European-style patisserie, but they wouldn’t have to worry about baking the pastries, effectively marketing their business, or any of the typical concerns associated with small business ownership.

After meeting with Founders Rosalie and Audrey, as well as Master French Chef Didier, the Stroms were convinced that owning a Le Macaron bakery franchise was the right move. They appreciated and identified with Le Macaron’s brand values and the sense of being part of a family-owned business. We are excited and proud to have the Strom family on board!
